Original Prusa MK4 3D Printer (assembled)
The MK4 offers the convenience of high-speed 3D printing and reliable like all Original Prusa 3D printers. With all the best features of the MK3 - the open source 3D printing mainstay with easy maintenance and advanced security features, plus more!
With the Loadcell sensor (no manual adjustment required), the MK4 offers a perfectly smooth first layer. The new generation of extruders (Nextruder) and 32-bit connectivity platform has many improvements on quality of life such as remote printing, quick nozzle change and a customised user interface with one-click printing options.
You don't have to adjust the Z-axis from time to time, and input shaper and pressure advance are supported for high-speed printing and further improved security features. In addition, there are numerous useful features such as quick-change nozzles, built-in support for remote printing and a webcam. And it prints very quietly.

Easy High-speed Printing
By implementing input shaping and pressure push technology in the MK4 hardware, the printer can eliminate resonance in prints and predict filament flow. The result is a reduction in print time of up to 70% compared to the MK3. What's more, even at these speeds, the printer is very quiet - check out the sub-20 minute Benchy video. Support for high-speed printing is imminent via a firmware update.
Perfect First Layer Right Out of the Box
With the precise Loadcell sensor, the MK4 can automatically lay down a perfectly smooth and consistent first layer without any parameters. At the beginning of printing, the printer taps the sheet with a nozzle in a grid-like pattern to measure the distance and then calculates the correct offset. The result is a perfect first layer on every surface, without manual adjustment.
Nextruder with Breakout Board
The extruder is the heart of every 3D printer. And the MK4 is special! Nowadys, most 3D printers on replacing extruder components is a rather complicated process. With the new connector breakout board inside the Nextruder, all components such as fans, heaters, thermistors etc., are connected directly there. If you need to change anything, it only takes a minute.
32-bit xBuddy Mainboard
The new xBuddy board is a 32-bit STM32 driven mainboard with many great features. It has several unique hardware-based security protection systems, communicates with four thermistors, has all important ports (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, works with USB-A flash memory drivers) and much more. The whole board is designed, built and tested in-house.
Outstanding Print Quality
The MK4 comes with redesigned, more robust plastic parts and new precise 0.9° stepper motors on the X and Y axes (0.9°/step; low inductance) to help eliminate vertical fine artifacts on printed objects. In addition, there is a thicker 10 mm rods on the Z-axis. The quality of printed objects is better than ever, even with "problematic" filaments (e.g. Flex).
Color LCD screen and Simple User Interface
The MK4's display supports G-code thumbnails, 2D codes and other elements, making it easier to use.The MK4 redesigns many existing menus and adds a customisable footer panel. Directly below the LCD, there is an RGB status bar to show the current status of the printer. Next to the LCD, there is a USB-A port for a standard USB flash memory drive.
Quick-swap Nozzles
Nozzle replacement is easier than ever with the two quick release thumbscrews on the side of the Nextruder body that hold the nozzle in place. The MK4 uses a special nozzle with an all-metal filament guide (no PTFE tube), which improves the overall reliability of the printer. A simple Nextruder-V6 adaptor is available.
Slicing with PrusaSlicer
Prusa's in-house developed multiplatform slicer is equipped with internally produced, and fully tested profiles for all of Prusa's 3D printers, and a wide range of filaments. With built-in tools such as tree support, cutting, automatic object distribution, ironing and much more, you can turn your 3D models into printed objects in no time at all!
Support for a Wide Range of Materials
The MK4 is fully compatible with a wide range of different types of materials. Whether you want to print something fun from PLA and flexible materials or need to produce durable prototypes from PETG, ASA, polycarbonate and polypropylene, the MK4 can print it all!
Prusa Connect and the Connectivity
The MK4 like other 3D printers, is fully supported by Prusa Connect, allowing the printer to be controlled via the internet. You can drag and drop G-Codes into a browser window, upload your print files to the cloud first (2 GB per user for free), then transfer them to the printer's USB memory and start printing remotely. All connections are encrypted.
